Speech Therapy and Apraxia

Speech Therapy

If you feel like your child is not easily understood by others, or if you are noticing specific sounds your child is struggling with, contact us to discuss your goals. There can be different causes of speech-sound errors (e.g., phonological vs motoric). Our therapists will customize therapy to meet your child’s needs and work to improve speech intelligibility.

Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS)

A Speech-Language Pathologist will be able to assess whether your child’s speech-sound errors may be related to Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). This is a motor-speech sound disorder that is diagnosed by a therapist. This may change how often your child requires services and the therapy techniques. Contact us at Tiny Mighty to learn more.
